Dozier Paul Forsyth, 55, passed away at Veteran's Hospital in Gainesville, Saturday morning, after a long illness.
He was born in Kenansville, Florida and was reared in Bunnell, and made his home in Palatka.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific. He was a member of the Palatka Urban Renewal Board.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at College Park Baptist Church where he was a member.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha, four daughters: Mrs. Jack Bush, Columbia, S. C.; Mrs. Austin Tilton, San Mateo; Mrs. Bernard Smith, Palatka; Mrs. Terry Freeman, Gainesville; two sons, Paul Jr., Orlando; Gary, Palatka; and eleven grandchildren.
There are eight sisters: Mrs. Lee Blakely, Mrs. T. E. Lovelace, Jr., Mrs. Richard Cantrell, Miss Zena Muzyka, Miss Marie Muzyka, Mrs. John A. Clegg, Mrs. Edward Hawkins, and Mrs. Otis Hunter, all of Bunnell; and one brother, C. H. Muzyka, Brunswick, Georgia.
