Zelda Deen, 88, of Intercession City, Fla., died Thursday, December 26, 2002 at Good Samaritan Healthcare Center, Kissimmee. She previously resided in Palatka for 22 years. She was born in High Springs, Fla., March 2, 1914. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her daughter, Florelle Wentink, Kissimmee; a sister, Hilda Knight, Lake Charles, La.; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, Flagler County Unit, P. O. Box 356, Bunnell, FL 32110.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of services, Tuesday, Dec. 31 at Craig Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd., Flagler Beach.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, Fla.

Craig Funeral Home, Flagler Beach is in charge of arrangements.

INTERCESSION CITY - Zelda Deen, 88, of Intercession City, formerly of Bunnell, died Thursday at Good Samaritan Healthcare Center, Kissimmee.

Mrs. Deen, a homemaker, was born in High Springs.

Survivors include a daughter, Florence Wentink, Kissimmee; a sister, Hilda Knight, Lake Charles, La.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her High School Sweetheart, George
Deen Sr. of Bunnell in 1932, She then
graduated from Beauty College in
Jacksonville, FL. 1938 brought
Baby George Jr. and eleven years
their daughter, Florelle
surprised them with her entrance
into the World.
She is survived by daughter Flo and
husband Jeff; his son Cory
Sister and husband; Hilda and AC
Grandchildren; John and
wife, Larissa, Susie and husband, Rusty,
Chris, Keith and wife Stefnie,
Great-grandchildren; Erin, Kaylee,
Anaka and Nova
