Charles Eugene Herr (Chuck), age 70, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Chuck was born on March 1, 1951 in Daytona Beach, Florida and in 1969 graduated from Bunnell High School. Most of his life was spent living and working in Bunnell, Florida.

Chuck worked for Dunn Lumber for more than forty years, beginning his career there at the early age of fourteen as a dust boy, working his way up to driver and eventually manager. He spent the last two years of his life living in Richmond Hill, Georgia near his daughter.

Chuck was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoons.

He was preceded in death by Father, Orin Herr (O.K.) and Brother Thomas Herr.

Chuck is survived by his Mother, Deborah Chapin of Savannah, Georgia, his Daughter, Stacey Petersen (Chris) of Richmond Hill, Georgia, his Son Brian Herr (Sarah) of Bunnell, Florida, and his Sister Deborah Phillips (Jeff) of Richmond Hill, Georgia, and five grandchildren: Mason, Brayden, Landon, Colton and Kinsley.

Funeral services will be held at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home in Flagler Beach, Florida on Wednesday April 7, 2021. The family will welcome visitors from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a service to immediately follow.
