Saturday, July 8, 2006NORMAL, III. - Joe B. High, 85, of Normal, a former Bunnell resident and graduate of Bunnell High School, died July 1 at Manor Care Health Service.
Mr. High, an Army veteran, was born in Brunswick, Ga., and moved here at a young age from Flagler Beach. He was a chemist with the government and formerly owned a chemical information company both of Alexandria, Va.
He attended St. John's Lutheran Church, Bloomington, Ill., and was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and the Society of the Sigma XI. He earned his master's degree in science and chemistry from George Washington University, Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his companion, Rozella Flick, Normal. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Edo Miller & Sons Funeral Home, Brunswick, is in charge.
