Frank Hutcheson, 77, of Palatka, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Putnam Community Medical Center.

A native of Jacksonville, he had resided in Putnam County for the past 13 years, coming from Hialeah. He had retired after 20 years as a supervisor for Tarmak Concrete Company, he was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and of the Baptist faith. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was an avid sports and Gator fan.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Lillian Hutcheson of Palatka; a son and daughter-in-law: Ernest and Brenda Hutcheson of Fort Lauderdale; and a daughter and son-in-law: Faye and Gary Buckles of Palatka; five grandchildren: Melissa Hutcheson, Jennifer Hutcheson, Vicky Buckles, Amanda Buckles and Frank Buckles.

At the family's request, no services are planned. Burial took place in Palatka Memorial Gardens.

Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home of Palatka is in charge of arrangements.
