Karl William Lord, Jr., 36, died Tuesday morning in a Miami convalescent home after an illness of about one year.

Mr. Lord was born in Chula, Virginia in 1914, and came to Flagler County with his parents in 1926. He had resided in Miami for several years prior to his death.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon (Friday) at Espanola Cemetery at 2 o'clock, with Rev. John Dickson, pastor of the First Baptist Church here. Garcial Funeral Home of St. Augustine is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are his father, K. W. Lord, Bunnell; three sisters, Miss Celia Lord and Mrs. Harold Emery of Espanola, and Mrs. W. L. Fortner of Hastings; a son and daughter, Lynn and Patricia of Jacksonville.

Pallbearers are: J. H. McKnight, Jr., Johnny Mercer, Milton Pellicer, G. C. McArn, Otis Hunter and Martin Harding.
