Emma Jean Lovelace, 18, Bunnell, died on the way to a Daytona Beach Hospital from injuries sustained in a truck-car collision Saturday night in Ormond Beach. The accident occurred on S. Beach St. in Ormond. Beach. Miss Lovelace was a passenger in a. car driven by her cousin, Miss Margie Lee Blakely, Bunnell. The car skidded, passenger side first, on the rain slick road into the north bound lane and was hit by a small truck.

Born September 12, 1948 in Palatka, she was a lifelong resident of the Bimini area. She was a 1966 graduate of Bunnell High School where she was a cheerleader and a member of the Letter Club. She was an IBM operator for the Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Daytona Beach.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 at the First Methodist Church of Bunnell. The Rev. Oliver Taylor, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Espanola Cemetery.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Lovelace, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Janice Davis, Port Smith, Va. and her grandmother, Mrs. T. E. Lovelace, Bunnell.

Pallbearers were Walton Cowart, Kent Holland, Stanford Robertson, Martin Tucker, John Johnston, Albert Johnston and Zachary Holland.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge of arrangements.

BUNNELL - - Service for Imogene Lovelace, 18, Bimini, Fla; who was killed in an automobile accident in Ormond Beach Saturday, will be today at 10:30 a.m. at the First Methodist Church of Bunnell, Rev. Oliver Taylor, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Espanola Cemetery. Calling hours are until 9:30 a.m. today.

Miss Lovelace was born in Palatka, and was a lifelong resident of Flagler County. She was graduated from Bunnell High School in 1966, and was a cheerleader and a member of the Letter Club while a student there. She was attending Daytona Beach Junior College.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Lovelace, Jr.; a sister, Mrs. Janice Davis, Port Smith, Va.; and her grandmother, Mrs. T. E. Lovelace.
