GREENVILLE — Funeral services for John H. Metts, 68, of Greenville, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville. Burial will be at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. 

Metts was born May 15, 1945, in Savannah, Ga., to Dorsey and Mary Metts. He had been a resident of Greenville since 1984, where he worked at Moeller Products Co. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of Riverport Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Metts, of Greenville; three sons, Stacey (Lesley) Metts, of Griffin, Ga., James (Selma) Metts, of Greenville, and Dave (Susan) Metts, of Zebulon, Ga.; a brother, Ronald Johnston, of Bunnell, Fla.; a sister, Deborah Henderson, of Stark, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Neal Cordell will officiate.
