Thomas Jackson Miller, born January 6, 1931, affectionally known as T.J., passed away peacefully at his home in Palm Coast on Thursday morning, December 10, 2009. T.J. was a Bunnell High School alumni, served in the U.S.M.C. and was owner and master plumber of Flagler Plumbing Company for over 50 years.

T.J. was a lifelong resident of Flagler County and was best known for his vast and comprehensive knowledge of the history surrounding Flagler County, especially Flagler Beach during the second World War.

One of his greatest joys was sharing his stories about the history of Flagler Beach with the younger generation over morning breakfast at the local restaurants. He was totally devoted to his family and his most enjoyable moments was the times he was able to spend with his great-grandchildren, and the joy he would see in their eyes while they played. His wit and charm was appreciated by all who knew him and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends and especially by his great-grandchildren who referred to him as "paw paw".

T.J. is survived by his two sisters, Minnie Hotard, Morgan City, LA and Mary Williams, Seville, FL; his three children, Johnnie Ruth Redditt, Pass Christian, MS, David Miller, Palm Coast and Rose Pezza, Flagler Estates; his six grandchildren, Richie Redditt, Michelle Redditt Roark, Jason Miller, Dana Miller Brooks, Danielle Miller and David Miller; his six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua and Hannah Brooks, Makenna and Nathan Miller, and Abigail Roark.
