A memorial service celebrating the life of Michael Henry Missinne, 59, of Bunnell, will be celebrated on Monday, April 5, 2010, 10:00AM at the chapel of Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. S., Flagler Beach. Friends may visit on Monday from 9:30AM to until the time of service at the funeral home.

Michael passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2010. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN to the late Charles J. and Marietta Missinne.

Michael served in the US Air Force as a Sgt. during Vietnam as an aerial photographer. He retired twice as Detective for Florida East Coast Railroad and as a Sgt with the Holly Hill Police Department. His memberships included St. Stephen Catholic Church, Disabled American Veterans #86 where he served as cook manager during the bingo games, Fraternal Order of Police/ Harry Raines O.B., American Legion Post #120, PBA Volusia/Flagler Counties. Michael enjoyed photography, writing, hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas J. and Robert J. Missinne. Survivors include his daughters, Ashley Missinne of Palm Coast, Wendy Brinker-Biggers of St. Thomas USVI; sisters, Mary Johnson and Peggy Trad, both of Bunnell; grandchildren, Austin, Sophia, Gianna, Madeline, Bradford and Prestin.
