Robert Moody Ill, died Monday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ronald Logan of Bunnell.
Moody, 41, was a native of Bunnell and has resided here since his discharge from the Army in December of 1975. Moody spent 20 years in the service and retired as a Master Sergeant.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Moody Jr. of Flagler Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Karen Tilton of San Mateo and Mrs. Marie Logan of Bunnell; one brother, Stanley Germack of Bunnell.
Survivors also include three sons, Robert IV, Donald and Timmy, and one daughter, Elizabeth.
According to an investigation by Flagler County Sheriffs Dept. and the Bunnell City Police Dept., Moody died of a self inflicted shotgun wound.
NOTE: Sgt Moody received the Bronze Star for meritorious service in connection with military operations against hostile forces in Vietnam while assigned with the Directorate of Replacement Operations, U S Army, Vietnam (CSDeen).
