Mr. Otis Nipper Jr., 71, of the Whitton Community, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 27, at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Reaves and the Rev. Darryl Ross officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery with W.T. Wilson Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Nelson Nipper of Albertville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Eddie Coffman of Florida and Alice and Charlie White of Florida; brother, Gene Nipper of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Nipper was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Sr. and Grance Nipper; sister, Charlotte White; nephew, Josh Bales; and neighbor and good friend, Paw Paw Bales.
Mr. Nipper was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Otis Nipper, 71, of the Whiton Community, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009.
Services were Sunday, Dec. 27, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Chris Reaves and Darryl Ross officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. W.T. Wilson Funeral Home, in Rainsville, officiated.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
