Cecil Herbert Westbrook, Jr., age 74, of Live Oak, FL. passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home following an illness of some time. 

Cecil was born in Palatka, FL. on November 17, 1943 to the late Cecil and Mae Elizabeth Westbrook. He worked as a general contractor in the industrial and housing construction industry. When Cecil decided to leave construction, he went to work at Suwannee River Economic Council writing grants. He retired in 2008 and in his spare time he enjoyed rebuilding computers and working with electronics making movies and music CD’s.

Cecil was preceded in death by his son, Michael C. Westbrook in December of 2000.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Nancy Raymond Westbrook, Live Oak, FL.; one son, Chris Westbrook and his wife Jessica of Bunnell, FL.; one brother, Jack Westbrook, Live Oak, FL.; his sister, Sheila Ward, Palatka, FL.; three grandchildren, Sterling, Levi and Laci,

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Jasper, FL. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon, April 29, 2018 at Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper between the hours of 4:00-6:00 p.m.
