Grady Thomas “Tommy” Deen, Jr., age 57, of Baxley died Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Jacksonville, Florida. 

Mr. Deen was born November 5, 1958 in Appling County and was a member of the Baxley Church of God. He was retired from the Union Insulators Local 96 and served in the Air Force for one year.

Mr. Deen was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Deen and Mother, Vonice Hartley Deen. 

Survivors include his daughters, Danielle Nicole Deen of Baxley and Erica Casey Deen of Vidalia; Father & Step Mother, Grady Thomas, Sr & Elizabeth Deen of Baxley; sisters, Melissa Deen, Dawn Anderson both of Baxley and Christiana Griffin of Jacksonville, Florida; Brothers & sister in law, David & Pam Deen of Lumber City, Ned Deen of Baxley, John Callahan of Social Circle and Hank Callahan of Hazlehurst; cousins, Melba & Rodney Murphy of Baxley; 4 grandchildren 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 13, 2016 at 11:00 am from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Tomberlin officiating. 

Interment will follow in Deen Family Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers are Randy Doyle, Shawn Murphy, Donavan Cooper, Dale Smith, Danny Smith and Kenan Griffin. 

Visitation will be one hour prior to funeral service at Swain Funeral Home.
