HIGGINBOTHAM - Irvin Buddy Higginbotham, Sr., age 73, a resident of Baxley, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. Mr. Higginbotham was born February 7, 1939 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Frederick Waas Higginbotham and the late Louise Batten Higginbotham.

Mr. Higginbotham was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Higginbotham was a member of Morocco Temple Shrine, Albert J. Russell Blue Lodge & Woodmen of the World Life Insurance. He was recognized for Who's Who International of Professionals.

He is survived by his wife, Judie P. Higginbotham of Baxley; 4 sons, I.S. Bubba Higginbotham, Brian L. Higginbotham both of Baxley, M. Dean Higginbotham of North Caroline & Al Campbell of Colorado Springs, Co.; 1 sister, Judy M. Rewis of Jacksonville, Fl.; 3 brothers, Fred W. Higginbotham, Jr. of Warrensburg, Mo., Gene W. Higginbotham of Camden, S.C. & Lawrence D. Higginbotham of Middleburg, Fl.; 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren & 25 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday (TODAY), July 25, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home and visitation will be at 12:00 until funeral hour, Minister Rev. Tommy Davis. Interment: Deen Cemetery with Military & Masonic Rites.

Active Pallbearers: Greg Chism, Wayne Griffis, B.J. Crews, Joe Beecher, Garrett Anderson & Jeff Whitaker.

Honorary Pallbearers: All employees of Bill Williams A/C and all family & friends in attendance.
