SRICKLAND FUNERAL HOME

Funeral services for Doyle C. Martin, 64, who died in the Talmadge Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning after an extended illness, were held at the Church of God of Prophecy Friday afternoon at 3 p.m.

The Rev. Lee Waldon of Nichols, Rev. D. F. Miller of Odum, and Rev. Eschol Huelett officiated. Interment was in the Dean Cemetery.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Martin of Baxley, a son Troy Martin of Baxley, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Copeland of Brunswick and Mrs. Bertell Dyal of Baxley, three brothers, Bynam Martin of Homer, Rube Martin of Blackshear, and Dortch Martin of Ocilla, a sister, Miss Rushia Martin of Redding, CA, seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Pall bearers were Raymond Dykes, Joel Fowler, Elmer Fowler, James Crosby, Willie M. Carter and Howard Brannen.

Strickland Funeral Home was in charge.
