Baxley - Jill Danielle Smith, 24, died Wednesday, Nov. 14 at Shands at the University of FL. 

A lifelong resident of Appling Co., she was a member of the Baxley Church of God where she was active in the Youth, Women's Ministry, Drama Team and the Signs of the Times Ministry. She was employed by the Appling Health Care System. 

SURVIVORS: parents, Danny and Gail Smith, Baxley; brother, Aaron Smith, Baxley; grandparents, Bobby and Hilda Morris and Edsel and Pauline Smith all of Baxley; uncles and aunts, Dale and Ann Smith, Hal and Donna Whitaker, Joffre and Angela Morris and Malcolm and Angela Morris; nephew, Noah Smith and boyfriend, Buddy Hall. 

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, Baxley Church of God. The body will be carried one hour prior to the funeral service. 

BURIAL: Deen Cemetery.
