BAXLEY -- Minnie Smith, 80, died April 21 at Appling Healthcare System. 

A native of Madison, Fla., she had lived in Appling County most of her life. She was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church. 

SURVIVORS: a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Letitia Smith of Baxley; four sisters, Josephine Brown of Fort Pierce, Fla., Ruby Westrup of Sebring, Fla., Helen Oigarden of Pensacola, Fla., and Eunice Clarity of Gainesville, Fla.; a brother, Clarence Wilson of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandchildren, Greg Morris and Shayne Smith, both of Baxley; three great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews. 

FUNERAL: 4 p.m. today at Hopewell United Methodist Church, burial in Deen Cemetery.
