  Final  Rites For Mrs. T. P. Taylor
  
		      Graveside services were  held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at the Deen Cemetery with the Rev. Charles  S. Easom officiating.
		      
		      Mrs. Taylor was found  shot to death in her automobile on a lonely dirt road Sunday. Detectives said  she had been shot in the back of the head and died between 9 and 10 p.m.  Saturday. Her purse had been reified. Her husband said she left home about 9  p.m. to mail a letter.
		      
		      Mrs. Taylor was a  native of Baxley and lived here until 1948 when she moved to Jacksonville, She  was 54 years old.
		      
		      She was a counselor for  the Daughters of the American Revolution. A memorial service for her was held  by that organization in Jacksonville Monday night. She was also a member of the  Methodist Church.
		      
		      Survivors include her  husband, Thomas P. Taylor, Jacksonville; her mother, Mrs. J. J. Miles, Baxley;  four daughters, Mrs. Merle Morehouse, Mrs. Dorothy Ann Collins and Mrs. Frankie  Blanton, all of Jacksonville, and Mrs. Mildred Fowler of Waycross, six sons,  Grady W. Deen, Quinton A. Deen and James E. Deen, all of Jacksonville, Herbert  Deen of Baxley, Downing D. Deen, Jr., Loring AFB, Maine, Thomas L. Deen, U. S.  Army, Columbus, two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Hampton, and Mrs. Clifford Smith,  Sr., all of Baxley; and one brother, Ralph Miles of Baxley and 13  grandchildren.
		      
		      Strickland Funeral Home was in charge of local  arrangements.
