BUNNELL -- Joan Carolyn Ash, 43, of County Road 2006, who was born in Hope Mills, N.C., died Saturday at home. 

Mrs. Ash, a hairstylist, came here 30 years ago from North Carolina. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She enjoyed the outdoors and fishing. 

Survivors include her husband of four years, Joseph; a son, Jon Wilder Jr., Flagler Beach; a stepson, Joseph, Bunnell; two daughters, Sarah Wilder and Melissa Parker, both of Flagler Beach; her mother, Ava Britt, Lumberton, N.C.; her father and stepmother, Douglas and Barbara Wright, Flagler Beach; two brothers, Gregory and Douglas Wright Jr., both of Bunnell; two sisters, Cheryl Kelly, Bunnell, and Kimberly Dudney, Lumberton; and a grandchild.
