		    W. L. Barber, aged 44, died Monday afternoon at three  o'clock in the Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine of pneumonia after only a few  days in bed. Mr. Barber was a resident of Flagler County for the past 25 years,  coming here with other members of his family from Baxley, Georgia. He was one  of a family of thirteen children, and the first member of the family to pass  away.
		    Surviving the deceased are his mother and father, Mr. and  Mrs. John B. Barber; eight brothers, four sisters and one son. Three brothers  reside here, J. D., J. S. and G. M., and one sister, Mrs. Fred Booe. The other  brothers are Neal and C. J. of Alma, Ga.; D. W. of Tucson, Ariz.; John M. of  Detroit and I. L. of Cross City, Florida. His other sisters are Mrs. E. E.  Howard of Jesup, Ga.; Mrs. R. L. Lovett, of Savannah, Ga.; and Mrs. Max Fein of  New York City. The son, Eugene, resides at Robertsdale, Alabama.
		      
		      Funeral services were held this afternoon at two o’clock  from the home of his sister, Mrs. Fred Booe, and were in charge of Rev. J. M.  DeVette, pastor of the Baptist church of Bunnell. 
		    Burial was made at Espanola Cemetery shortly after the  funeral services.
