Mrs. Agatha Mays Butler of Bunnell died early Tuesday morning in a St. Augustine nursing home after a long illness. She was 83 years old.

Mrs. Butler was born in England. After coming to the United States she resided in New Jersey for some time before moving to Flagler County about 45 years ago. She was a member of' the Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon (Thursday) from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell. Rev. Thomas Pinner, pastor of the church, will officiate. Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell is in charge of arrangements. Interment will follow at the Espanola Cemetery.

The body will rest at the church from 1 o'clock this afternoon until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Butler is survived by a son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Mays of Rochester, N. Y. Also surviving is one grandson and one grand­daughter, both of Rochester.

Pallbearers are Paul Stanish, Dale Brown, Dewey Moody, Raymond Smith, Henry Wells, Ray Mercer, and C. B. Eisenbach.
