Charles E. Campbell, Sr., 84 passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast. Charles was born in Jasper, TN in 1928.  

Charles was instrumental in the cutting of roads, well systems and installing utilities for the development of Palm Coast working for Paul & Howard Construction and Hubbard Construction. Charles also worked as a heavy equipment operator for City of Ormond Beach. Charles enjoyed operating bulldozers and tractors, taking road trips, gardening, tinkering fixing things and built most of his home in Bunnell.  

Charles is survived by his wife of 36 years, Carolyn Campbell; daughters, Judy Lane Taylor and Gail Annette Gould; sons, Charles Campbell, Jr., Christopher Maloy Campbell and Dwayne David Taylor; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his son Charlie Murrell Taylor, Jr.  

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00Pm on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Friends may call Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 1:00Pm till service time at Craig-Flagler Palms Life Celebration Home, 511 Old Kings Rd. South, Flagler Beach.
