EUSTIS - Sallie E. Chambers, 81, of Pine Road, a resident for 51 years, died Thursday at Woodland Terrace, DeLand. 

Mrs. Chambers was born in Evans County, Ga., and moved to the area from Georgia. She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Bunnell. Mrs. Chambers enjoyed crocheting and knitting. 

Survivors include a son, James Todd, Eustis; three brothers, H.C., Lee and T.J. Morgan, and a sister, Kathryn Gibson, all of Claxton, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Allen-Summerhill, DeLand, is in charge.
