Mrs. Alma R. Cobb, widow of the late Thomas J. Cobb of Bunnell, died at the home of her daughter in Sarasota Tuesday following an illness of several months.
Mrs. Cobb was a native of Georgia and had resided in Flagler County about 35 years. She had spent the past several months in Sarasota with her daughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon (Thursday) from the First Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Thomas Pinner, officiating. Interment will follow at Espanola Cemetery.
She will rest at the Craig Funeral Home, 201 East Moody Blvd., today from 9 a. m. to noon and at the church, from 1 p. m. until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Cobb is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Crow of Sarasota, Florida, and Mrs. M. G. Staten of Gainesville, Ga.; four sons, William Cobb, Ed Cobb and Hoke S. Cobb of Bunnell, and Hugh P. Cobb of Weatherford, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. W. H. Norvelle of Bishop, Ga.; Mrs. J. D. Trout of Charleston, Miss., and Mrs. Hubert Erving of Clermont, Ga.; three brothers, Alvin, V. T., and A. S. Addington, all of Clermont, Ga. Several grand children, great-grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Robertson, Cordell Robertson, Deen Holland, Z. G. Holland, Travis Chambers, and C. M. Miller.
Craig Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
