Clyde L. Collings of Artesia Park, North A-1-A, passed away Sunday afternoon in the local hospital after a long illness. He was 57 years of age.
Mr. Collings was born in Parke County, Indiana. He came to Artesia Park in 1951 from Anderson, Indiana, where he had resided for many years. He was manager of the Marineland Fishing Pier. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Margaret Collings of Artesia; a son, David Collings, attending Florida State University in Tallahassee; two sisters, Mrs. Walt Wilson of Artesia Park and Hastings, and Mrs. Naomi C. Isherwood of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Archie D. Collings, Danville, Ind., and Kenneth K. Collings of Anderson, Indiana.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o’clock from the First Methodist Church of Bunnell. The pastor, Rev. W. L. Spicer, Jr., officiated. Interment followed at the Espanola Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Tindall, Emmett Campbell, Z. G. Holland, Coley Mitchell, Stanley Bowers, and Steve Triay. Honorary pallbearers were R. E. LeGreve, Robert Pardon, Jr., J. Eyre Holmes, Lyman Gage, Robert Oliver, Fred T. Goodin, George M. Moody and Albert Gilmore.
Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
