Shekinah Glory Davisson, 13, of Palm Coast, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 suddenly at Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville. Shekinah attended Buddy Taylor Middle School where she aspired to be a photographer. She enjoyed many activities such as swimming, singing in the BTMS regional choir, and planned to sing this year in the All State choir. She also enjoyed singing in her church, being on the computer checking her MySpace page and text messaging with her friends - thousands of text messages per month! Shekinah was also a talented song and poem writer. She was an all-star pitcher on the PAL Softball Team. Her spirit touched many lives during her short time on this earth. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her parents Joel and Kathy Davisson of Palm Coast; brothers, Chris and Josiah Davisson, sister, Jenifer Davisson all of Palm Coast; paternal grandparents, Elizabeth Jameison of Daytona Beach and David A. and his wife Mary Ellen Davisson of Ben A von, P A; maternal grandparents, William and Sharie Mathews of Warren, OH. Aunts and Uncles include Russ and Connie Mathews, Don and Sandra Mathews, Janet and Steve Boozel, Pam and Phil Riggs, John Bryan Davisson, Allen and Deni Davisson, Paul and Lee Ann Davisson and many cousins.

The Davisson family will receive visitors for viewing from 3 pm - 7 pm, on Saturday, September 20 at Craig Flagler Palms, 511 Old Kings Road South Flagler Beach. The viewing will be followed by a Home Going service at 7 pm, also at Craig Flagler Palms. The Davisson family also invites you to attend a fellowship gathering at their home on the following day, Sunday, September 21, from 2 PM - 5 PM. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, FL.
