DEATH OF MRS. EMMET DEEN SHOCKS COMMUNITY

The death of Mrs. Ethlyn Deen, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sisco and wife of Mr. J. Emmet Deen of Orange Hammock, which occurred Wednesday morning shortly after seven o'clock at the home of her parents in Bunnell, was indeed a shock to all her friends and acquaintances throughout the county.

Mrs. Deen was taken quite ill several days ago and was brought to the home of her parents where she could be convenient of medical treatment, and it was not thought she was dangerously ill until Monday, when she was deemed to be in danger, but from that point on she gradually grew worse until the end came as stated.

Undertaker Davis of Palatka has embalmed the body, which will be held until the arrival of her sister, Mrs. Pauline Magee of Oklahoma, and her two brothers, Mr. Roy Sisco, of New York, and Mr. Joy Sisco of Jacksonville, the funeral arrangements remaining open until that time. Interment will most likely be at Espanola Cemetery.

Besides her mother, father, sister and brothers, Mrs. Deen leaves her husband and four children to mourn her untimely death.

She has wide connection of relatives in this section and in the North and West, and was one of the popular young matrons of Flagler County. Her death comes as a distinct shock to all her friends and the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved ones in their great loss.
