Thursday, September 18, 1975William S. Dunson Sr., 51, Hammock Area; Flagler Beach, died Friday morning of an apparent heart attack at Bunnell General Hospital.
He was born in Charlotte. N.C. and came to Flagler County 45 years ago from Alexander City, Ala.
He was a retired crane operator with Lehigh Portland Cement Co. and was a veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; three daughters, Joyce Wood, Betty Chandler and Sue Dunson; one son, William Jr., all of Flagler Beach; three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Gregg, East Palatka, Mrs. Aileen Harding and Mrs. Ruby Jarosz, both of Bunnell; three brothers, W. L. Dunson, Jr., Moore Haven; Marcus, Bunnell; and Robert, Crete, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Logan Whalen, pastor of Bunnell First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Espanola Cemetery.
Pallbearers were L. T. Miller, Warren Moore, Gerald Combs, Stanley Taylor, Ralph Harbert, and Cordell Robertson.
