		    Rubin Edwards, 61, Bunnell, was killed in an auto accident  at the intersection of US Highway 1 and State Road 13, about four tenths of a  mile north of here Saturday morning at 7:40 a. m.
		    Mr. Edwards was traveling north on US 1 and proceeded to  make a left turn onto Road 13 and drove his vehicle into the path of a car  traveling south on US 1. The southbound car was driven by Harold Eugene  Thygesen, 37, Jacksonville. 
		    Mr. Edwards was thrown from his vehicle and died instantly.  Thygesen was treated at the Bunnell General Hospital and was released.
		    Born in Hickory Flat, Miss., Mr. Edwards moved to Bunnell 16  years ago from DeLand. He was a sawyer with the Wadsworth Lumber Company and a  member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell. 
		    Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church of  Bunnell at 2:00 Monday afternoon with the Rev. Charles Anders officiating.  Burial was in Espanola Cemetery.
		    He is survived by his wife Mary; .a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane  Metts, Bunnell; three sons, Roger, Bunnell; Kenneth, Woodbury, N. J.; and  Clovis, Miami; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Hudspath, Ashlon, Miss. and Mrs.  Christine Wilson, Hickory Flat, and Mrs. Lorene Stanton, Hickory Flat; three  brothers, Earl, Marietta, Ga.; Leland, Dirsburg, Tenn. and Laymon, Hickory  Flat; and twelve grandchildren. 
		    Pallbearers were Jack Clegg, Richard Yelvington, P. D.  Pearson, Bill Fryman, Ferris Solomon and Jerry Burnsed.
		    Craig Funeral Home of Bunnell was in charge of arrangements.
