HOMESTEAD - Alice Gilley, 46, of Southwest Eighth Terrace, the daughter of Lily Gilley of Bunnell, died Tuesday at home.

Ms. Gilley was born in Elyria, Ohio, and lived in Homestead for 22 years. She was a zoo keeper for the Miami Dade Metro Zoo.

Additional survivors include two sisters, Annette Gilley, Melrose, and Lynnette Knox, Provo, Utah. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Craig, Flagler Beach, is in charge.

GILLEY, ALICE - Funeral service for Alice Gilley, 46, South West 8th Terrace Homestead, who died at home Tuesday, May 28, 2002, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Craig Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Rd., South, Flagler Beach, with the Rev. Beth Gardner, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Bunnell, officiating. Burial will be at Espanola Cemetery. Calling hours are from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, June 3, at Craig Funeral Home.

Ms. Gilley was born in Elyria, Ohio, and was a resident of Homestead for 22 years. She was a zookeeper of Miami Dade Metro Zoo.

She was predeceased by her father, L.C. Gilley (retired captain for Volusia Co. Sheriff's Department).

Survivors include her mother, Lilly Gilley, St. John's Park, Bunnell; sisters, Annette Gilley, Melrose, and Lynnette Knox, Provo, Utah; niece, Amber Graham, Gainesville; and nephew, Aran Graham, North Miami.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
