GILLEY, LILY BUCKLES - Funeral service celebrating the life of Lily Buckles Gilley, 80, Bun­nell, who died Tuesday, May l3, 2008, at home, will be Saturday, May 17, at 11 a.m. at The First United Methodists Church, Bunnell, to be followed by a burial service at Espanola Cemetery in Espanola. Friends may visit Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church.

Lily was born June 11, 1927 in Bunnell and worked for many years as a florist. She enjoyed gardening and shopping. She was a member of the Florida State Florist Association and The Florida State FTD. Lily was a member of the First United Methodists Church, Bunnell, and was also a member of the Democratic Club of Daytona Beach and the Emblem Club of Daytona.

Lily is predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Capt. L.C. Gilley and her daughter, Alice Lorraine Gilley.

She is survived by her daughter, Annette Gilley, Waldo, Fla.; brothers, Harold Buckles, Hong Kong, China, Homer Buckles, Lake George, Fla., Mark Buckles, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; sisters, Lavada Buckles Murray, Palm Coast, Lorraine Buckles, Daytona Beach; and grandchildren, Amber and Aran Graham.

Donations may be made in Mrs. Gilley's name to Hospice of Volusia and Flagler County, 3800 Wood briar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.

The family of Mrs. Gilley entrusted the arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home.
