BUNNELL - Dallas S. Gordon, 82, of East Palm Street, who retired after 22 years as a teacher’s aide for the Flagler County School System, died Sunday at Flagler Pines Nursing Home.

Mrs. Gordon moved to this area in 1955 from her native Chesterfield County, S.C. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bunnell.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles "C.H."; three sons, Kenny, Bunnell, Frankie, Ocala, and Heywood, Mount Dora; a sister, Elaine Taylor, South Carolina; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Scholarship Fund of the Flagler County Education Foundation, P.O. Box 354117, Palm Coast, FL 32135.

GORDON. DALLAS S.- Funeral service for Dallas S. Gordon, 82, E. Palm Street, Bunnell, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at First Baptist Church of Bunnell, 401 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell, with the Rev. Wayne Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Espanola Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Mrs. Gordon died Dec. 26, 2004, in Flagler Pines Nursing Home, Bunnell. She was born in Chesterfield County, S.C., on September 7, 1922, a daughter of William and Ailline Merriman Sellers. She had resided in Bunnell since 1955. Mrs. Gordon retired after 22 years' service as a teacher's aide for the Flagler County School System and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles H. "C.H." Gordon Sr., Bunnell; three sons, Heywood, Mt. Dora, Frankie, Ocala, and Kenny, Bunnell; sister, Elaine Taylor, Peal island, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
