Anthony "T.J." Tyler James Guthrie                   Anthony "T.J." Tyler James Guthrie April 3, 1996 - September 30, 2012 Anthony Tyler James “T. J.” Guthrie, 16, of St. Augustine passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Anthony was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine and was enrolled as a sophomore at the Nease High School in St. Augustine. He had attended the Emmanuel Independent Baptist Church in North Carolina. Anthony enjoyed playing basketball and football, golf, fishing, hunting, NASCAR, dirt biking and swimming. He was a country boy who enjoyed being outdoors. His family was very special to him. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. “Andy” Guthrie, who also passed away due to injuries sustained in the automobile accident. Left to cherish Anthony’s memory are his mother and step-dad, Carerra Guthrie and Frank Stefancik of Bunnell; step-mother, Maria Isherwood of St. Augustine; a brother Caleb Manucy of Bunnell; a sister, Autumm Guthrie also of Bunnell; four step-sisters, Sophie Isherwood, Jenna Isherwood, Danielle Isherwood and Georgia Isherwood; grandparents, Frank and Lillian Stefancik of Bunnell; grandfather, Mack King of Lithia, FL; grandparents, Bud and Glenda Guthrie of Stella, NC; grandparents, Lorraine and John Gliott of New Bern, NC; grandparents, James and Karen Hann of Palm Coast, FL; and a great grandmother, Christabell Godwin of Stella, NC. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Masters Funeral Home in Palatka with Donald Ewart officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Espanola Cemetery.
