Funeral services for Charles D. Hance, 70, a resident of Bunnell since 1918, were held from the Bunnell Methodist Church Monday afternoon, with Rev. Robert Carr, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Espanola Cemetery under direction of Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine.

He died last Friday night in Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine where he had been carried a few days previously.

Mr. Hance was a native of New Jersey, coming to Bunnell from Jersey City. During his residence here engaged for many years in the grocery and market business.

He was a member of the local Methodist Church and Bunnell Masonic lodge.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Crowe, Daytona Beach; two brothers, David Hance, Breille, N. J., and Olin J. Hance, Winterthur, Delaware.

Pallbearers were Henry Wells, J. F. Mercer, T. E. Holden, J. O. Buckles, M. B. Fuller and D. D. Moody.
