BUNNELL - Effie Louise Holland, 84, of County Road 90 E, a retired self-employed electrologist, died Saturday at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast.

Mrs. Holland was born in Camilla, Ga., and lived most of her life in Bunnell. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and past member of the Idlewood Club. She enjoyed fishing and embroidery.

Survivors include two sons, Donald, Bunnell, and William, Bennettsville, S.C.; a daughter, Bonnie Baker, Bunnell; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Pine St., Bunnell, FL 32110.

Graveside funeral service for Effie Louise Holland, 84, Bunnell, who passed away Sat., March 3, 2007, at Florida Hospital Flagler, Palm Coast, will be 11 a.m. Wed., March 7, at Espanola Cemetery, Espanola, with the Rev. Beth Gardner officiating. Her family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Effie was born Dec. 9, 1922, in Camilla, Ga., to the late Andrew Jackson Hays and Maggie (Mulford) Hays. She lived most of her life in Bunnell, where she was a member of First United Methodist Church and a past member of Idlewood Club. Effie enjoyed fishing and embroidery. She was retired as a self-employed electrologist.

She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie H. Baker, Bunnell; two sons, Donald Holland, Bunnell, and William R. Holland, Bennettsville, S.C.; four grandchildren, Benita Allman, Betsy Mitchell, Gwen Busch and Kim Carlton; nine great-grandchildren, D.J. Nobles, Too Mitchell, Jessica Westbrook, J.R. Durrance, Jeremey Miller, Ashley Rolle, Erika Rolle, Christina Lowery and Amanda Lowery; and six great-great-grandchildren, Gage Durrance, Lauren Durrance, Sterling Westbrook, Levi Westbrook, Laci Westbrook and Dillon Quervaz.

Effie was preceded in death by her loving husband, David Holland; granddaughter, Brenda Miller; three sisters; and six brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations suggested to First United Methodist Church, 205 N. Pine St., Bunnell, FL.
