Ray Chester Hunter of Bunnell, who was injured in an automobile accident, early Sunday morning near the intersection of Deen Road and State Highway 28 west of Bunnell, died at the Glendale Hospital in Palatka tonight at 9:30.

Mr. Hunter was a life-long resident of Flagler County. He was 26 years of age. He was a machinist by trade and was employed at the Bunnell Motor Company.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Jewel Hunter, and two daughters, Betty Jean and an infant daughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hunter of Espanola and four brothers, Otis Hunter of Bunnell; Howard Hunter and Wilfred Hunter of Espanola, and Kenneth Hunter of Ft. Knox, Kentucky, who is a soldier in the U. S. Army.

McCabe Funeral Home of St. Augustine had charge of the body but funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Funeral services for Ray Chester Hunter of Bunnell who died last Thursday night in the Glendale hospital in Palatka from injuries received in an automobile accident near Bunnell on February 1, were at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon from the First Baptist Church of Bunnell with Rev. R. P. Tomlinson, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial was made in the family plot in the Espanola Cemetery.

Mr. Hunter is survived by his widow and two daughters, Betty Jean, and an infant daughter; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Hunter of Espanola; four brothers, Otis Hunter of Bunnell; Sergeant Kenneth Hunter of Ft. Knox, KY; Howard Hunter and Wilfred Hunter of Espanola.

Active pallbearers were Dale B. Brown, Jr., Alfred Tucker, J. E: Barber, L. E. Wadsworth, Miller Teters, and Claude Deen. Honorary were: Spencer White, G. C. McArn, Buster Akin, Rodgers Turner, Robert Bertha, Walton Johnston, Fred White, Dean Holland, Albert Johnston and Leslie Abbott.
