BUNNELL – Madeline Johnston, 69, Route 1, a resident since 1951, died Wednesday at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach.

Mrs. Johnston was born in Brooklyn, and moved here from New York. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1590 Auxiliary, Daytona Beach.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel; three sons, Chip, Jeff and Ray, all of Bunnell; a sister, Virginia Libbey, Daytona Beach; and eight grandchildren.

Volusia County Cremation Society, Daytona Beach, is in charge.
