HAW CREEK - Walter Eugene (Gene) Knight III, 45, died Monday night as a result of injuries received in a truck accident on S.R. 11, three miles south of Bunnell.

A lifetime resident of Flagler County, Mr. Knight was a rancher. He was also a member of the United Methodist Church of Bunnell


Graveside service for Walter Eugene (Gene) Knight III, will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Espanola Cemetery with the Rev. Kenneth Gaskin officiating. There will be no calling hours.

Mr. Knight passed away Monday evening. He was a life time resident of Flagler County. He was a rancher and a member of the United Methodist Church of Bunnell.

He is survived by his widow, Kathy, Bunnell; two daughters, Elizabeth and Letitia, both of Bunnell; one son, Walter IV (Perry), East Windson, New Jersey; his stepmother, Leon Knight, Bunnell, and one brother, Eldon, Bunnell.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, is in charge of arrangements.
