Thursday, January 28, 1954Funeral services for Homer Jackson Langdale, 51, will be held from the. First Baptist Church this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. E. W. Ware, pastor, officiating.
The body will lie in state in the Church from 2 to the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Espanola Cemetery, with Garcia Funeral Home of St. Augustine in charge.
Mr. Langdale, who died Wednesday morning in Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, was a native of Berrien County, Ga., but had been a resident of Bunnell about 20 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Langdale and a step-son, Joe E. White, of Bunnell; three brothers, J. W. Langdale, Enigma, Ga.; J. J. and Noad of Ocilla, Ga.; two sisters; Mrs. C. L. Wilkes, Sylvester, Ga., and Mrs. Ralph Thomas, Jacksonville.
Active pallbearers are: G. B. Kelly, Henry Wells, D. D. Moody, Louie Whitaker, Clyde Lewis, T. K. McKnight. Honorary - - J. L. Crews, Homer Brooks, J. B. Matherly, J. F. Mercer, Willard Tucker, Louis Wadsworth, Dean Holland, E. S. Morris, T. A. Edmonson, and Lamar Harris.
