Mrs. Carrie Leggett, 26-year-old wife of Carol Leggett, died here Saturday morning after several weeks' illness.

Mrs. Leggett was a native of Appling County, Georgia, having been a resident of this state but a few months.

She is survived by her husband and one 2-year-old son, J. C. Also by her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Medders; five sisters and four brothers, all of whom are living here.

Funeral services were held at the grave in Espanola Cemetery Sunday morning, Rev. John S. Taylor, pastor of the local Baptist church, having charge of the services.
