Max I. Lewis, 68, Beverly Beach, died Sunday at Daytona Beach General Hospital after a short illness.

He was born at French Creek, N. Y. and moved to Beverly Beach two years ago from Jamestown, N. Y. He was a retired millwright and was a member of St. Augustine Jehovah Witness Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Worden, Brocton, N. Y.; 7 grandchildren and 1 great­grandchild.

Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 at Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell. Charles Falkner, acting pastor, St. Augustine Jehovah Witness Church, officiated. Interment was in Espanola Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Mike Falkner, Alan Baya, Craig Thompkins, Cameron Hubbard, Bill Hillier and Harry McNitt.

Craig Funeral Home, Bunnell, was in charge.
