Mrs. Mildred B. Lewis of Bunnell was fatally injured in a two-car collision on U. S. 1 Highway about five miles north of Bunnell, Tuesday afternoon.

Also injured in the accident was Mrs. Bertha Grimes, mother of Mrs. Lewis, who is listed in serious condition at the Bunnell General Hospital.

Passengers in the other car involved were Mr. and Mrs. Irwin E. Koppel of Cedarhurst, N. J., and their five children. Mr. Koppel and four young daughters were released from the hospital Tuesday night and Mrs. Koppel and year old son were held for observation.

Officials investigating the wreck said Mrs. Lewis apparently lost control of the car when a tire blew out. It was reported both cars were demolished.
