Funeral services were held at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon at the Espanola Cemetery for William M. Lewis, who died at 2:20 Tuesday morning at the home of his son, Wm. C. Lewis.

Mr., Lewis was 83 years of age and had been in failing health for the past several years, although he had been confined to his bed for the past several weeks.

Mr. Lewis came to Flagler County with his family in 1909 from Linton, Indiana, and resided in the St. Johns Park section where he owned a farm until about two, years ago when he, moved to Bunnell.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Frances Lewis, one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Paracca of Jacksonville, and one son, William C. Lewis of Bunnell; Also one granddaughter, Helen Lewis of Baxley, Georgia.

Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Espanola Cemetery on Wednesday afternoon with Rev. C. M. Samford of Daytona Beach, former pastor of the local Methodist Church, in charge.

Funeral, arrangements were under the direction of' Kee-MeCabe of St. Augustine.

Pallbearers were: Henry Salyerds, Joe Harding, Bert Hamilton, E. F. Malphurs, John Kinney and Harold Buckles.
