McKENZIE, VICTOR W. - A memorial service for Victor W. McKenzie, 76, who died following an extended illness on Tuesday, September 4, 2001, at Good Samaritan Center, Dowling Park, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 8, at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will be at a later date at Espanola Cemetery, Bunnell.

Mr. McKenzie was born in Bunnell and graduated high school in New Smyrna Beach. After serving in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II, he attended the University of Florida where he was a member of Pi Kappa Phi and Alpha Kappa Psi, a business honor fraternity.

After receiving his bachelor degree, Mr. McKenzie was an active member in the Exchange Club and the Chamber of Commerce in Gainesville. He was a member of Charter Life Underwriters and a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.

Mr. McKenzie was predeceased by his parents, Victor W. McKenzie and Etha Clayton McKenzie.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia M. Clark, New Smyrna Beach; sons, Jon Victor McKenzie, New York City, N.Y., Wade Franklin McKenzie, Atlanta, Ga.; and step­daughter, Betty Jo Wallen, Melrose.
