Funeral services for Edmund L. Miller, 30-year resident of Bunnell, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Methodist Church here with Rev. Robert H. Carr, pastor, officiating.
Mr. Miller died at the home of his niece, Mrs. G. W. Lee, in Hastings Monday morning after a month's illness. He had been totally blind for a number of years before his death.
Mr. Muller, who was 78 years old last November, was born in Saxony, Germany, in 1873. He came to the United States when 18 years of age, settling in McKeesport, Pa. where he became a naturalized citizen. He came to Bunnell in 1922. For many years he was employed by the city.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Miller and one sister, Mrs. J. C. Hilderbrandt of Bunnell, and three brothers.
Burial was in Espanola Cemetery with Craig Funeral Home of St. Augustine in charge. Pallbearers were T. E. Holden, E. S. Morris, A. B. Johnston, O. F. Alford, William Booe and M. B. Fuller.
