John W. Minshew, 49, North Cherry St., Bunnell, died Sunday afternoon of an apparent heart attack.

He was born in Georgia, and moved to Bunnell 10 years ago from Daytona Beach.

The deceased was foreman for Florida Power & Light Co. where he was employed for 25 years. He was a Veteran of World War II, and was active in the Bunnell Midget League baseball program.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, one daughter, Miss Genece Minshew, Stuart; one son Ricky, Sebring; one step-daughter, Penny Nobles; three step-sons, Van Sanders, Donnie and Jeff Nobles, all of Bunnell, one sister, two brothers, and one grandson.

Graveside funeral services were Wednesday at Espanola Cemetery. The Rev. T. Shelton Brooks officiated.
