William Edward Minton

BUNNELL – William (Billy) Edward Minton, 18, County Road 302, died Saturday apparently of injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

Mr. Milton was born in Cocoa Beach and moved here nine years ago from Homestead. He was a 1988 graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School and involved in a work study program there. He was a member of the Future Farmers of America.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Jim and Nora Price, Bunnell; a brother Kenneth E. Price, Naples; seven sisters, Renee, Tina, Jennifer Price and Deanna Price, all of Bunnell, Monica Henson, and Vickie Collette, both of Pleasantville, Tenn., and Kathy Miller, Samsula; and his grandmother, Evelyn Giddens, Bunnell.

The family request donations be made to the DCT Scholarship Fund, Flagler Palm Coast High School.

Funeral Service for Billy Minton, 18, County Road 2003, Bunnell, who died Saturday night at Halifax Medical Center as a result of injuries from an automobile accident, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.

Billy was born in Cocoa Beach and moved to Bunnell in 1979 from Homestead, Fla. He was a 1988 graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School and a member of FFA and DCT.

He is survived by his mother, Nora Price, Bunnell; his stepfather, Jim Price, Bunnell; a brother, Kenneth Edward Price, Naples, Fla.: seven sisters, Rene Minton, Tina Minton, Jennifer Price, Deanna Price, all of Bunnell, Monica Henson and Vickie Collette, both of Pleasant Hill, Tenn., and Kathy Miller, Samsula, and his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Giddens, Bunnell.

In lieu of other remembrances, his family requests donations be sent to the DCT Scholarship fund which is being set up in his name at Flagler Palm Coast High School.
