BUNNELL – Verdie O. Morris, 93, 300 N. Church St., died Friday morning at the Putnam Community Hospital, Palatka.

A native of Houston, Fla., Mrs. Morris had been a resident here for 76 years coming from Live Oak. She belonged to First United Methodist Church, Bunnell.

Survivors include two daughters: Lillian Wilson, Palatka, and Helen Deen, Bunnell; a son, L. S. Cody, Bunnell; five grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
