BUNNELL  - Emma Halford Murray, 76, 303 Deen Road, a longtime Flagler County educator,  died Wednesday morning at Community Hospital of Bunnell. 
Mrs.  Murray retired from the Flagler County School District after 39 years of  teaching at all levels in the public school system, elementary through high,  school. She was born in Ridgeland, S.C., and attended Winthrop College, Rock  Hill, S.C. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from the University  of Florida, Gainesville, where she was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma sorority. 
A  member of the Salzburger Society in Georgia, the Daughters of the American  Revolution and the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Mrs. Murray was also a  member of the Children's Home Society and the American Association of Retired  Teachers. 
Mrs.  Murray was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell where she taught the  Alethan Sunday School Class for 20 years. 
Survivors  include three sons, Harry H., Rock Hill, Remley, Bunnell, and Vandy J.,  Greenville, S.C.; a. brother, James Wilson Halford; and a sister, Marie  Weathersbee, both of Ridgeland; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
